Indianapolis, Indiana it is but normal for lab to be used by medical professionals when doing dirty jobs especially when they are work with their patients. To this, it is also normal for such garment to experience the worst in terms of cleaning them to the point that they can be destroyed especially when the cleaning process is handled improperly. For this, it is always the dream of those who own them for lab coats not to be damaged easily especially only because of cleaning process. Thanks for the effort of the researchers at the Indiana State University as such problem can be solved soon enough.
Researchers at the Indiana State University are developing new techniques on how lab coats can be preserved properly and they are focusing on the way lab coat fabrics can be preserved though it has to undergo a rigorous cleaning process. This focus is being done on the way lab coat fabrics can be strengthened so as for it to withstand the cleaning process. According to the researchers, they are examining a type of chemical which can penetrate the fabric for it to be strengthened thereby promising much durability even under constant pressure brought by the cleaning process.
The chemical involved in the research has the combined abilities of a detergent bar and a fabric conditioner that when applied to any fabrics particularly that of the lab coat can assure much protection against the pressure brought by rigorous cleaning process. More than the protection such chemical may bring, it is also tested for greater protection of the lab coat or adar scrub fabrics against stains and other things that can damage the fabrics. To this and when realized, the chemical will be a great thing for the lab coat industry thus will be of benefit to those who own lab coats.
The chemical is currently under development but when it turns out to be successful, it will be handed by the researchers to whoever wants to produce it commercially. And it would be a lucrative undertaking for any company who will undertake its commercial production. To this, Proctor and Gamble as well as Unilever show sign that they want to undertake the chemicals mass production.
