San Francisco, CA April 25, 2008 -- Bruce Carlisle, a veteran digital marketing executive and Senior Associate with A-Team Advisors, will address the Executive Workshop for Small and Mid-Sized Agencies at the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA) Annual Leadership Conference on April 28 at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel.

As the communications world has moved into a more networked environment in which top-down approaches to marketing are less viable and consumers are conversing with each other about brands, many advertising agencies continue to struggle to adapt their services and approach to this new paradigm. Carlisle's talk will focus on the practical needs of agencies in transition from several perspectives including operations, culture, repositioning the agency, and the benefits of buying versus building capabilities.

Bruce Carlisle is a veteran of thirty years in advertising, public relations and marketing services, holding increasingly senior positions at Grey Advertising, McCann Erickson, Ogilvy & Mather, and Della Femina, McNamee. In 1996, he founded and served as CEO of SF Interactive (SFI), one of the nation's first full-service digital marketing agencies. The company was named the "fastest growing privately held company in the Bay Area" by the San Francisco Business Times in 2000. Since selling SFI in 2003, Bruce has been helping management at traditional advertising agencies make the transition to a more digital-centric world. In addition, he is involved as either a principal or in an advisory capacity with several Web-based publishing and technology start-up companies, including his online media consultancy Digital Axle. Bruce is a 1978 graduate of St. Lawrence University.
