The Advance Archiving, Reporting and Control System (ARC) is the first solution which launches the Advance VisiCon range of software and services, designed to improve the Visibility and Control a client can have over their EDI operations, whether that client has a stand alone, in-house EDI set-up, or is one of AdvanceFirsts growing number of EDI Managed service (AMOS) clients.
What is ARC?
The ARC system can be accessed from the main AdvanceFirst website (http://www.advancefirst.com/arc.aspx?PageID=ARC%20System) and has been designed primarily for users of AMOS (Advance Managed Outsource Solutions) and our ABC range of software. It can in addition however be utilised by any EDI clients who use the ABC range of software from AdvanceFirst.
ARCs purpose is to provide information about the files and documents that have been processed through the AMOS managed service or an in-house EDI system and to answer common questions such as Has a particular invoice been sent?, If so, when?, When was that document, or file of documents, downloaded by my trading partner? and so on. It also provides a very useful intelligent document storage and retrieval service (with advanced search capabilities) for those clients who require it.
The ARC system also provides clients with a number of reports and graphs relating to the processing of EDI documents which can be tailored to the requirements of that client. Daily, weekly and monthly reports on both inbound and outbound data files are easily accessed and monitored by ARC users.
A range of Business Intelligence solutions and a Dashboard to display your KPIs are fed by the information gathered through the ARC system. These can be tailored to suite the specific requirements of your business.
