May 22, 2008 -- Aegix Consulting, Inc. announces the successful completion of a NERC (North America Reliability Corporation) Audit. The NERC Compliance Audit took place at one of the nation's largest power producer and finished early. Focused on multiple plants across the SERC (Southeastern Electric Reliability Council) Region and for Generator Operator, Generator Owner, and Purchase Selling Entity Standards, the NERC Auditors used RSAWs (Reliability Standard Audit Worksheet) to perform the audit. These RSAWs were completed as part of the Aegix Consulting's 'hands on approach' in assisting their NERC clients for audit preparation.

Aegix Consulting believes that the success of the NERC Compliance Audit was due in part to the partnership they have with their client. This partnership involves Aegix Consulting traveling to each 'In Scope' Facility and performing an on-site NERC Compliance Assessment. During this assessment, evidence is gathered, scanned, cross referenced to each standard and requirement, and then highlighted and tick marked to reference to each requirement. RSAWs are then downloaded and completed to reference each piece of evidence down to the document, the section, the paragraph, and the sentence. This 'end to end' approach ensures that the auditors can clearly identify compliance.
