(Singapore) Citi (www.citigroup.com/citi/global/asiapacific.htm) has been named as Best Consumer Internet Bank in India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand as part of Global Finance magazines Worlds Best Internet Banks competition in Asia. This is the second consecutive year that Citibank has been named Best Consumer Internet Bank in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand. In addition, Citibank was also adjudged to offer users the Best Investment Management Services and Best Bill Payment and Presentation in the Consumer Banking category across the Asian region. Citi also swept many of the awards in the Best Corporate/Institutional Internet Bank category, with wins in the following ten markets: Australia, Bangladesh, China, India, Japan, New Zealand, Philippines, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. All in all, Citi clinched 21 out of the 53 awards in the Worlds Best Internet Banks competition in Asia.
