The online public forum creates a place for MediaSmart customers and those seeking information about MediaSmart products to participate in discussions, share tips and tricks, read articles, learn about news, software add-ins and features. MediaSmarthome.com also serves as a place for users to share experiences with other fans in a friendly, collaborative community environment.

While MediaSmarthome.com will support all MediaSmart products, it will initially focus on HP MediaSmart Server. Based on the Windows® Home Server software from Microsoft, the HP MediaSmart Server enables consumers to backup, access and share digital entertainment, memories and information through one, centralized location(1). Additionally, consumers can access the content on their HP MediaSmart Server from any other computer in the house - even a connected TV(2) ---- as well as provide access to friends, family or on-the-go household members through the Internet(3).
