HG Ventures Barclaycard launches incentive scheme to help its clients venture back to spending.
HG Ventures, Barclaycard is the first major credit card to venture out to get its clients back. With the announcement of price freezing for all its new and existing clients for the next four months customers are being granted a rest bite from recent profile risk changes, something the markets will undoubtedly welcome. HG Ventures, At least three million UK Barclaycard customers will benefit from the freeze in rates, with purchase interest rates being reduced by between 2.5% and 5%. Selected customers will be informed directly of the change, with half of these reductions being implemented in February and the remaining taking place throughout the year. These customers have been identified as having a low risk profile and they include both those who clear their account regularly and customers who borrow. HG Ventures, the news has been welcomed by the markets, other major credit cards are expected to follow suit with similar promotions and price freezes to make their customers feel at ease spending, these will undoubtedly benefit the overall economy accordingly.
