Morgan Hill, CA April 29, 2008 -- DV has introduced an Event Trigger Interface Board that can manage up to 128 individual event interrupts onto the Viewstream 200 Digital Media Player for Digital Signage. Designed originally to demonstrate a large number of individual doorbell tones in a "do it yourself" retail store, the interface board can easily be deployed to trigger audio and video events on the ViewStream Digital Media Player. Using a simple contact closure matrix, the interface provides a flexible and inexpensive solution to implementing complex event management.

The interface board is used in Digital Signage applications as well as industrial applications such as small production lines and a car wash where mechanical switch closures trigger events that are presented at a central monitor location.
