Irvine, CA May 8, 2008 -- According to the last reporting period, all 32 schools in the Irvine Unified School District scored above the state API test score standard of 800, the schools that serve the Villages of Irvine community continue to express their commitment to quality education.
The District's highest average score of 891 topped all of the other school districts in Orange County. Irvine students consistently lead Orange County in SAT test scores, and more than 90 percent of Irvine Unified School District high school graduates attend college.

UCI recently ranked as the 44th best university and the 13th best public university in the United States in U.S. News and World Report's 2008 listing of America's Best Colleges.
