PMC Group Panama is going to be the proud host of famous movie star, Franco Nero (husband of Vanessa Redgrave) and famous Italian director, Enzo Castellari this month. They are visiting Panama with the intention of looking at possible locations in Panama for Castellaris next movie that is supposed to take place in the Caribbean. Ernesto Chong Coronado and his company, the PMC Group Panama, are glad to be associated with Castellaris next directorial venture and hope to show the director why the beautiful spots in Panama are perfect for his upcoming movie.
Franco Nero and Enzo Castellari were earlier planning to vacation in Panama, which is not surprising considering that it has a wide variety of attractions. From beaches to carefully nurtured ecosystems, from rainforests to secluded islands, Panama offers something to every visitor. However, when they both saw pictures of some of the more exotic locations in Panama, they were very impressed and interested in considering some of these locations to shoot Castellaris next movie.
With more than 150 films to his credit, Franco Nero has already acquired cult status in European cinema and director Enzo Castellari has been his biggest supporter, giving him the lead role in not just one or two, but in seven productions. These included the famous action thriller, Street Law as well as a Western, Keoma. Nero has acted with some of the best directors and has the unique distinction of acting in over 35 films in just eight years.
Every movie buff today has heard about Quentin Tarantinos Inglourious Basterds. After all, with eight Academy Award nominations, the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival and the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor, it is kind of hard to miss this one. Not only that, it is Tarantinos highest-grossing film to date. However, what not many know is that the movie that inspired Inglourious Basterds was Enzo Castellaris 1978 GI movie The Inglorious Bastards. In fact, Tarantino is such a big fan of Castellari that he cast him in a cameo role as a Nazi General in the movie Inglourious Basterds a role that Castellari had himself played in his own movie.
As guests of PMC Group Panama, both Nero and Castellari are going to be shown some of the most beautiful and extraordinary range of locations in and around the country. They will see for themselves why Panama is proving to be a tourist delight. PMC Group Panama will also endeavor to inform the guests about the number of incentives in place for the film industry in Panama. We are sure that a first-hand exposure to the delightful locations, wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities available in Panama will convince them of Panama being a great choice to make a movie. PMC Group Panama is indeed honored to host such great international talent in Panama and will be assisting them in all they need to make their film project a great success.
