Google Inc, worlds largest internet marketing company has finally decided to go through with video ads by monetizing its YouTube service. As we know, Google is testing banner and display advertising on its mobile website only for U.S. and Japanese visitors. But now this internet marketing giant going with videos ads for its online video service YouTube and mobile video website as well.
But for now, this test only for YouTube. YouTube product marketing manager Christine Tsai revealed that testing would be taking place in the USA and Japan. She also indicated that there are “millions of people who visit YouTube every day” on their phones and this move is just the beginning of a full testing process for mobile internet marketing for YouTube which would allow advertisers in the trial to reach millions of users.
"Were excited to explore new approaches to mobile advertising and will evaluate this test closely over the next several weeks to make sure we provide our community, our partners and advertisers with the most valuable and effective mobile experience possible," commented Ms Tsai.
Google CEO Eric Schmidt has repeatedly said that Google’s mobile presence is the key to the future, because it is assumed that there are large number of internet connected cellphones on planet than PCs and Laptops.
