New York May 6, 2008 -- Fit4D™ (Fitness4Diabetics), has announced new virtual classes featuring programming for people looking to positively impact their lives and their diabetes. Classes offer an opportunity to receive support, inspiration and guidance for coping with diabetes --- while also gaining strength from participants and new friends across the US and Canada.    

Classes are hosted by the Fit4D coaching team comprised of nurses, exercise physiologists, dieticians and personal trainers with extensive diabetes expertise and accreditations. Fit4D coaches present engaging content and provide specific guidance designed to empower people with diabetes to live healthy and fulfilling lives.

Classes run for six weeks during which participants take part in three virtual workshops delivered by watching a presentation on their computer and listening to the presenter by phone. Participants have the opportunity to interact with the presenters and obtain peer-support via phone and on-line tools. In addition, between workshops, class participants work closely with their Fit4D coaches to achieve their personal fitness and nutrition goals.

Fit4D also offers members 1:1 personalized fitness and nutrition guidance/support that is individualized to their specific needs and lifestyles.

Fit4D classes and personalized coaching is available to people with diabetes at all levels of fitness from beginner to seasoned athlete.

Join the team of Fit4D experts as you learn new approaches to improving your fitness through exercise, diet and motivational techniques. Whether you are focused on a specific sport; or motivated to begin exercising regularly - this class will support moving your fitness regimen to the next level.

Fit4D's group class programs offer peer-to-peer support and a targeted curriculum. Since class topics are specific, Fit4D's coaches are able to provide highly detailed instruction and create measurable and rewarding benchmarks in support of each student's success.
