Acton, MA September 3, 2008 -- Georgetown University, in conjunction with MyCareTeam, Inc., has announced that MyCareTeam's popular diabetes management software, MCT-Diabetes, is immediately available to all Georgetown University employees and family members through the university's health and wellness program, GUWellness: Mind, Body, Soul.

Georgetown employees can now use MCT-Diabetes to securely upload blood glucose (sugar) readings from their glucose meter and communicate electronically with their caregivers.         MCT-Diabetes, developed in conjunction with Georgetown University Medical Center and recently cleared by the FDA, guides people with diabetes to make the required behavioral and medication changes supported by frequent feedback and input from caregivers.
