Hull, England September 19, 2008 -- This partnership will see Smeg donating 10% of the price paid for selected pink products at Kitchen Science to Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity.

There are 6 different eligible pink Smeg products available at Kitchen Science, ranging from fridge freezers to washing machines and dishwashers.
Each pink appliance that gets sold comes with a form that the customer will need to complete before sending on to Smeg. Trading Manager for Kitchen Science, Jonathan Yardley, said, "This scheme really strengthens our partnership with Smeg. Already we are one of only two accredited Smeg retailers, and as soon as this scheme was proposed, there was no hesitation in rolling it out. The opportunity to support a strong charity such as Breakthrough Breast Cancer to aid such a good cause does not appear too often, so it took us no time whatsoever to decide."
Yardley continued, "The pink appliances from Smeg are not just ornaments. Though their good looks are unquestionable, functionally they are also excellent. The FAB fridge freezers are well known for their style and performance, and the washing machine and dishwasher that are also part of the range follow the trend too. We're extremely pleased that Smeg are generously donating money to charity, and we urge every customer who has bought a pink appliance to return the form."
