ICREON Launches National Geographic Channels Website in Abu Dhabi

Icreon Communications, a leading software and web development company has successfully launched the National Geographic Channels website in Abu Dhabi. The website available, both in English and Arabic, serves as a supplement to the National Geographic Channel being aired in Abu Dhabi.
The website provides information about various programmes being aired on the channel, their schedules, trailers etc. Various value added features such as the facility to set reminder alerts for upcoming programmes, games etc are available. The website is dynamic with all data being managed through an administration module. It is available at http://www.natgeotv.ae/
Our relationship with NG and Fox Movies goes way back but we only recently started working with them in the UAE. There were quite a few apprehensions that both parties had initially but I am grateful to NG and the FOX team for the continued faith in our abilities to deliver to tight deadlines and across multilingual platforms. I am confident that this association would continue to prosper, asserts the confident CEO, Mr. Himanshu Sareen.
Elaborating further, he shared that after struggling a bit initially about the Arabic script that goes from right to left, we were successful in overcoming the ongoing challenges in the project like enabling users to search the database in Arabic, managing the programme listing by Arabic alphabets, managing Arabic texts in Flash banners etc. Also essential aspect was to ensure that the website adheres to standard international guidelines that need to be followed for all NGC websites.

In that time we have progressed from one website for The History Channel in India to launch 3 websites for our Fox Channels and NGC in the Middle East.
