The advertising exec and marketing expert says the internet is the tip of the iceberg in a new era of wealth creation

According to Norman, the erosion of income due to the recession had reached a point where her career simply became untenable. It was then that she realized that something completely outside the box was necessary, since simply finding another job would not improve her overall situation. Getting laid off proved to be her salvation however because when she was let go, Norman had an epiphanyit could only get better.
She began by evaluating her skill set, her career experience, and her personal objectives. I love the freedom of working from home, setting my hours, and having an unlimited income potential, Norman said. So those aspects of a new direction were critical. I want to use my extensive marketing experience in traditional media and take it to the next level. I also believe that Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization as well as marketing using social media are recession-proof.
