Hampshire, UK August 27, 2008 -- Juniper Research, www.juniperresearch.com, the leading mobile telecoms analyst house is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Kitson as Senior Analyst.

Previously with Business Monitor International (BMI), Andrew has written extensively on the mobile, broadband and fixed-line telecommunications markets. Prior to working for BMI, Andrew spent 13 years at International Telecoms Intelligence (ITI), formerly part of Espicom Ltd, leading a team of analysts that authored reports on: more than 60 telecoms markets worldwide; 100-plus leading telecommunications operators and service providers; 50 key national regulatory authorities; and more than 30 of the world's principal telecommunications equipment vendors and manufacturers. During his time at Espicom/ITI, Andrew also authored a number of regional reports focusing on the BRIC Economies, the Middle East, and Western Europe. Andrew's involvement in the telecoms sector spans more than 20 years in all.

As Senior Analyst, Andrew will be responsible for developing Juniper Research's report portfolio, including growing the company's Mobile Handsets and Devices reports and enhancing and expanding Juniper's coverage of mobile markets.
