A new website www.landlord-epc.co.uk aims to provide an easy solution to Landlords Energy Performance Certificate needs. The website provides information and provision in order to help landlords improve the energy efficiency of their properties through the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC); including applying for energy saving grants to further support implementing the highlighted recommended improvements.

The website has been set up in the wake of the EPDB legislation that came into force in regard to landlords on the 1st of October 2008. Landlord-EPC.co.uk are a nationwide EPC provider who can efficiently complete the required Energy Performance Certificate and ensure compliance with new UK regulations.

A spokesman for Landlord-epc.co.uk said;

We are proud to be able to help Landlords apply for energy saving grants to act on the recommendations within the Energy Performance Certificates for their rented properties. Energy efficiency in rented homes is an area that is receiving closer attention and Landlord-epc.co.uk will be at the forefront of the move to improve the standards in this ever increasingly important area.

The Landlord Energy Saving Allowance (LESA) is a scheme that allows landlords to claim a tax rebate on the income from residential property up to a value of 1500, as a result of increasing the energy efficiency of homes. This facility has been available for a number of years now and will continue to be so until 2015.

Landlord-epc.co.uk is helping landlords identify areas in which energy efficient improvements can be made whilst helping with accessing grants relevant to their properties.

We have been surprised at the limited number of Landlords who are aware of these grants and allowance and proud to be actively supporting our clients in order to access these grants.

We are pleased to be making an impact in helping landlords to improve energy efficiency in rented properties the spokesman explained, adding as this reduces fuel bills to both tenants and owners and helps to reduce the impact of inefficient energy use on our environment.

Through the Energy Performance Certificate process we are finding Landlords are able to cost effectively improve the standards of their properties, which in turn is making them more attractive to prospective tenants.

Due to specialising and focussing on Energy Performance Certificates we are able to provide a fast, efficient service on a nationwide basis. Often we have found clients are shocked at the speed we are completing their EPC instructions and the ease required to order an EPC

The website includes advice, information, resources and provision in regard to Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) and energy efficiency.
