Kolkata, 02.01.09: Karmick Solutions Pvt Ltd (KSPL) held a workshop on the Latest Trends in Website Design at the Palladian Lounge in Dalhousie Square, the citys most happening business territory. It was successfully attended by a number of young professionals from the IT industry as well as veterans in the business to gain latest information and update on the said field.

The speakers, all holding distinguished chairs in this domain, presented their speeches one by one. Mostly all of them agreed to the fact that pointers like simple layout, less design, subtle and elegant images need to be considered while designing a website.
It was unanimously agreed upon that a cluttered, over informative website with images and animations galore do not actually appeal the human eye. Even an article recently reported by the BBC on latest research on the concerned field was taken up. It stated that the human brain makes decisions in a twentieth of a second of webpage viewing; so the first impression remains the vital factor in holding the interest of the viewer till the end. The workshop was closured with an audio-visual demonstration of a perfect website design.
