May 4, 2008 -- Paul Palmer, CEO of DPS, said "With the growth of Software as a Service solutions, and in particular the growing popularity of our SaaS offering logixcentral, Grenville will bring his experience with web based services to our clients and channel partners."
Mr Benton added "All industry analysts indicate that the big way forward for software application is over the web, with Gartner forecasting this month that by 2011 SaaS applications will represent one third of all new sales. The logistics and transport industry can particularly benefit from web applications because of the growing need for collaboration between supply chain partners and also the need for overall visibility".
DPS have also appointed Victoria Farmer as Sales and Marketing Coordinator. "Victoria will bring significant sales administration experience to help us with our current period of business growth", Mr Palmer said. Victoria has joined DPS as Sales & Marketing co-ordinator. Victoria has several years experience in sales and will be involved in planning all commercial activities including Press, Exhibitions, Website and campaigns.
