Join us Saturday August 29th at 2pm for a fashion show of epic proportions, featuring some of the most talented designers in Second Life all brought to you by Styles of edo at the magnificent Narkissos sim. The show will feature designs by a la folie, Angel Dessous, Azul, Bliss Couture, Crie Style, Couture Chapeau, grasp, Kunglers, Mohna Lisa Couture, Morea Styles, Nardcotix, Phoenix Rising, Pig Shop, Prism, Sonatta Morales, Tukinowaguma, Virtual Impressions, and VoguE. The star studded event will be directed by the gorgeous supermodel and Team edo Director Kay Fairey and the awesome Music Director Aris Earnshaw will be spinning the tunes.
The event will also spotlight the Miss Narkissos Contest for all you lovely models and fashionistas who would love to be the face of Narkissos. The contest will begin August 29th and end September 19th. The winner will be announced at the Miss Narkissos Event on September 19th, details of that event will be announced later. Some of the most well known people in the modeling industry will be judges, here are a few: Mimmi Boa (Miss Virtual World 2009), Kay Fairey ( Director of Team edo), and Poptart Lilliehook (The Owner and CEO of Modavia Fashion Marketing). The lucky winner will be displayed on posters for Narkissos as the "Face of Narkissos", will be the leading model at the next Narkissos show, and will receive fabulous prizes from the designers at Narkissos sim.
Rules for entering contest: 1) Each contestant must submit 2 photos (head shot + full body shot)
2) The snapshot or texture must be 512 x 512
3) The model in the picture must be wearing items from the shops located at the Narkissos sim (you may not however, just wear a bracelet only you must have on an outfit from the sim and you may also wear accessories such as hair, shoes, jewelry, hats, etc. from the clothing shops at the sim)
4) All photos must be sent in a folder named "Miss Narkissos Contest - " to Mami Jewell or Annette Wilder. Photos will not be returned once received; they are entered into contest and become property of Narkissos sim.
5) Five finalists will be announced before the winner is chosen.
Narkissos Fashion Show and Miss Narkissos Contest are proudly bought to you by the Powerhouse of elegant fashions known as Styles of edo. The huge names of fashion today and the future of fashion tomorrow will all be represented at this "Must See" show. We will see you there!
