A PowerPoint, Excel and word compression tool has been updated to be the first offering compression of Open Office files
Frankfurt, Germany February 19th 2009: International software company TopByteLabs are announcing the release of their updated office compression software, PowerShrink. The new version of the program, PowerShrink 4.0, allows users to compress office files; reducing image bloated documents and also allowing for improved system performance. It is also the first and only office compression tool to offer compression of Open Office file types (.odt, .ods, .odp, .odg and .odf) as well as the regular Microsoft office formats.
PowerShrink was developed with the aim to allow users to perform Word and PowerPoint compression and MS excel optimization quickly and easily with just one desktop tool. The new version 4.0 allows customers to shrink their Office documents and files in two steps, improving file performance by 23%. This means that users are able to send more files in one email and their clients can open up email attachments faster.
