San Francisco, CA September 9, 2008 -- People-OnTheGo announced the fifth complimentary "Lunch and Learn 2.0" Webinar series (http://people-onthego.com/lunchandlearn-ontheair.html) which starts on September 11, 2008 and runs through mid-December. The weekly Webinars in September, conducted via Web and phone conferencing, will cover such topics as incorporating play into the workplace, leveraging social network tools for business use, and managing communication and productivity across time zones. The first Lunch & Learn Webinar session will take place on Thursday September 11 and is titled "Lunch & Learn: IBM@PLAY: Learning that work and play are complementary". In this session, Chuck Hamilton, Learning and New Media Program Manager of the IBM 3D Internet team, will discuss the importance of play as a vital activity that can actually boost learning and productivity.

"In today's information overload and relentlessly emerging new technologies, business managers need to stay up-to-date on the latest and most innovative trends to help improve their team's performance, and keep their people satisfied and feeling accomplished" indicated Pierre Khawand, founder of People-OnTheGo, a productivity training company in San Francisco, California. The "Lunch & Learn 2.0" Webinar series is intended to bring to business managers and professionals the resources they need to achieve this. Mr. Hamilton notes that "if you are very lucky, you'll continue to play and learn throughout your lifetime, without feeling you had to work very hard at it."

This will be followed by the "Social Networking in Action" session presented by Jason Alba, the CEO and creator of JibberJobber.com. Alba will share an overview of social networks, its growing application in the business sector, and provide a live demonstration of some of the most popular platforms. The following week will feature a session designed to tackle productivity on a global scale and provide guidance on managing work across time zones. Catherine Moore, Director of Business HR at Nokia will share information about managing business in an increasingly international landscape. "Leveraging your global teams' capabilities and using proper communication channels across time zones, has become a real challenge that managers are facing now", indicated Mrs. Moore.

The October Webinars will kick off with sessions focused on online collaboration tools such as Google Apps and Microsoft Groove, followed by programs on harnessing the power of referrals. From October 23 through November 13, a group of Webinars will cover using assessment tools to help teams work together more effectively. The series will wrap up with sessions on areas such as improving customer satisfaction and managing the risk of blog and message board mis-use. Finally, the December 11 session, "Publishing Your Book - tips from the trenches" will feature a panel discussion of publishers, agents, and writers sharing their insight and answering questions about the processes and decisions involved in book publishing.

As the demands on the workforce grows and so does the level of complexity, People-OnTheGo, working with many of the thought leaders in the industry, is constantly evolving the "Lunch & Learn 2.0" Webinar series and making such resources available to business professionals.
