Technology PR:

Burlington, VT May 29, 2008 -- PixDrop.com (http://www.pixdrop.com), a popular web web site enabling users to send MMS picture messages for free from their computer to their mobile phones, is proud to announce it has now been used to send more than 100,000 free picture messages. PixDrop's announcement comes just before the sites one year anniversary this June.

With it's recent rapid increase in popularity, PixDrop.com is now sending over 23,000 free MMS picture messages a month to AT&T and Sprint cell phones across the United States. PixDrop is on track to send over 250,000 picture messages for free by the end of the year with its current growth rate. PixDrop's increase in popularity can be attributed to its new free picture uploader, currently in beta stage, that can be used to upload pictures from a users computer to the internet and then easily accessed and downloaded from a users mobile phone browser.

"We're extremely excited about the potential of our MMS picture messaging service! We've seen a big increase in user activity lately and we want to keep up our current growth trend. We have some great things in store for PixDrop this summer that we think our users will really like!" said company officials in a recent interview.

PixDrop.com was developed as the first user friendly web site enabling users to send picture messages from their computer to their mobile phone for free. No registration is necessary to send free picture messages with PixDrop. Users can send jpeg, gif, tiff, bmp, and png images up to 2 megabytes through PixDrop. PixDrop can be used anywhere around the world with its new picture uploader feature, currently in public beta testing.
