Los Angeles, CA May 6, 2008 -- PromoteVideo.com was launched May 5, 2008 by the Canufeel company owned by Russian businessman and programmer, Sergey Baklykov.
The basic idea of PromoteVideo.com is the creation of an alternative social network where people and companies can promote their videos and advertise their projects and services by way of direct payments to viewers for watching. To show the video, advertisers have to purchase credits which will be paid to the viewers for watching. The network appears as a third-party between broadcaster and viewer and charges fees for providing services.
This concept will motivate viewers to watch advertisers' videos. That's the principal difference between PromoteVideo.com and all other video networks: here all broadcasters can get guaranteed viewings from a targeted group of viewers.
Targeting is another feature of the network which enables advertisers to target their videos through different parameters to the audience they want.
The founder of PromoteVideo.com, Sergey Baklykov, said, "We have created an absolutely new business model of promotion and advertising in a video network on the Web. This is a great alternative to the old ways of doing things, including the less effective online advertising like banners and context ads."
Baklykov continued, "PromoteVideo.com is not just an advertising system; it's a network for direct communication between broadcaster (advertiser) and viewer because it's based on their reciprocal interests. We won't limit our video network to an advertising system. Our next step will be to create more features and services to make PromoteVideo.com a complete social network."
