Thomassen's career and experience in the Internet security market spans over 18 years. He regularly speaks on security issues at industry events and in the media. Most recently, Thomassen held the position of Vice President, Product Management at AdaptiveMobile, a leading mobile security software vendor. Prior to AdaptiveMobile, Thomassen was responsible for product management and product marketing for MessageLabs' flagship Email and Web hosted security products. Earlier in his career, Thomassen held senior level business development and product management positions at Sophos, ClearSwift, Citrix and Symantec -- both in North America and the EMEA region.
