Netanya, Israel July 16, 2008 -- SiSense Ltd, a company that provides business intelligence software to enable the analysis and visualization of data, today announced a new release that adds support for csv and excel 2007 files. This new beta release is available as a free download at http://www.sisense.com.
This latest release adds csv,Access 2007 and excel 2007 to the data sources already supported by SiSense: SQL, MySQL, Oracle, excel 2003 and SQL Analysis Services. This delivers on SiSense's vision of bringing business intelligence everywhere, to everyone. SiSense's solution requires no programming or OLAP, and no dedicated IT infrastructure, yet it allows ease of use (using drag and drop) and the same sophisticated analysis and insights. SiSense accomplishes this by using its unique technology which automatically builds a multidimensional model that simulates an OLAP cube. SiSense recently launched a private beta of an Amazon S3 Analysis Dashboard based on its SiSense Product.

It requires programming expertise and dedicated IT infrastructure" said Eldad Farkash, SiSense's CEO and Co-Founder. The release extends the ability of the software to serve any excel user by enabling them to easily create advanced applications that deliver insight in real time. Charts and pivot tables created by SiSense can be easily be used by business users to show and analyze data, with considerably less labor. An effective business intelligence practice can thus be created in hours, rather than months. Additional features in the release are:
- A new search widget
- A new action widget that exports the widget's underlying data to excel
- A new look & feel
"Our product has been in beta for the last several months, and we are focused on adding functionality that allows analysis of any data, regardless of its format", said Farkash "adding csv and Excel 2007 brings us much closer to this mark".
SiSense is in public beta and offers its software free of charge. Once the company is out of beta, it will announce pricing for its software.
