Belleville, MI, January 20, 2009 - Belleville-based Safety Track, a leader in the GPS Fleet Management industry, today announced the Company will provide a bolt-on Garmin in-vehicle navigation and routing extension to the Companys MARCUS 3G2 GPS tracking device. The Garmin display will handle dispatch and route points in addition to the out of the box Garmin capabilities like turn-by-turn voice guided directions. The Company has been shipping the Garmin compatible in-vehicle radio module, the MARCUS 3G2, for a number of months in preparation for the Garmin product launch. The Garmin in-vehicle solution is married to the new MARCUS V8 application which is being launched simultaneously. The MARCUS V8 solution has significant and powerful new features including user control over tracking fleet dispatching and an updated Mapping interface control panel. Competitive pricing, driver interaction and the user-friendliness of the MARCUS V8 system are critical components of the user experience as it directly impacts the operational efficiencies and overall Return on Investment (ROI) of this end to end fleet tracking, management, and navigation solution.
