Shanghai, China April 28, 2009 S2C Inc., a leading total solution provider in facilitating systems to chip innovations, today announced the second annual SoCIP event, the premier silicon intellectual properties (IP) Seminar and Exhibition in China. SoCIP 2009 closely follows suit with the inaugural success of SoCIP 2008, which attracted more than 200 systems-on-chips (SoC) professionals from various parts of China last year. SoCIP 2009 will continue to emphasize the introduction of the latest silicon IP products into China with this years theme on how Silicon IP core can raise the international competitive edge of Chinas integrated circuits (IC) industry. Some of the participating vendors for this years event are CAST, eASIC, EE Solutions, Northwest Logic, S2C, Tensilica, IPextreme and Transwitch. The event will be held in Shanghai on June 9th and Beijing on June 11th.
Despite the ongoing global financial crisis, China continues to generate strong interest around the globe due to its fast-growing consumer electronic market. Chinese designers are improving their products to meet not only the domestic market but also to meet the global demand for lower-cost electronic products. Silicon IP will play a significant role in upgrading Chinese companies capabilities to design differentiated SoC at lower costs and thereby raise its international competitive edge in the global electronics market.
