June 10th 2009 Talk Talk, the peoples home phone and broadband company, is offering FREE connection worth 29.99 for new customers who sign up to its Essentials* phone and broadband product between now and 13th June.
And BT customers alone could save a huge total of 766m on their phone and broadband if they switched to TalkTalk, the firm says.
Once they join, customers will be able to benefit from TalkTalks free local calls anytime as well.
As 11.3m BT customers are still paying for their local calls**, they could save a total of 428m on this part of their bill alone. The free connection offer would save them a total of 338m adding up to a potential saving of 766m for BT customers altogether.
TalkTalk Essentials comes with fast 8 Meg broadband, a huge 40GB download limit, free wireless router, and loads of inclusive calls, including free local calls and 0870 and 0845 numbers. All this for only 6.49 a month, plus 11.25 line rental.
Wendy Becker, managing director of TalkTalk, said: Our offer is open to anyone who wants to join the UKs number one residential broadband provider, regardless of their current broadband or phone provider, but we think the savings for current customers of BT are particularly significant. But with only a few days of this offer remaining, anyone wanting to benefit from it needs to be quick.
