Also, you really cant beat the unbelievably cheap prices for these softwares. Some consumers are only paying a one-time fee to watch thousands of channels at any time. Many people are raving about satellite PC to TV softwares and others are saying the softwares are pathetic. It really all depends on what software it is and what you pay for it. So how does regular satellite TV services compare to satellite TV to PC softwares?
The number one reason why so many people are switching to satellite to PC softwares is because of the price. Most softwares offer a one-time fee and thats it. You are then able to watch thousands of channels without monthly payments. With regular satellite tv services, you already know that if you want your service, you need to pay month after month. Aside from the software being extremely cheap, the experience is very good as well. The only down-side is that if you have a small computer screen, then you have to watch tv channels on there. Watching tv on your computer screen isnt as great as watching it on the big screen. However, there are ways to hook up your pc to your big screen.
So is a satellite TV to PC software even worth it?
In my own opinion, it works for me. I am always near my computer and if I want to pop on a movie or a sports game, its right at my finger-tips. Although for others who arent near their computers as much, it might not be that important to think about getting. The TV to PC software is pretty cool though, being able to watch over 3,000 channels at any time and having to only pay a one-time fee than free for as long as I own the software.
