Orlando, Fla. April 11, 2008 -- As a result of growing demand for electronic discovery software and services, Orlando-based Wave Software today reported first quarter record growth for 2008. Comparing first quarter 2007 to first quarter 2008, Wave Software, a three-year-old e-discovery software company, reported growth in excess of 200 percent. The company's success was driven by a dramatic increase in the number of large consulting firms that adopted the company's Trident Pro suite of applications.

Trident Pro is designed to help law firms, corporate legal departments and legal service providers reduce costs and produce relevant results for litigation, electronic discovery and regulatory response. Wave Software's growth is attributed to the "big four" consulting firms using their product along with its strong partnership network of global legal service providers.

• Enhanced functionality between Trident software and Image Capture Engineering, Inc. (ICE) product LAW 5.0 PreDiscovery. This enables rapid early case assessment and advanced litigation readiness;
• Enhanced search and culling with the addition of Vivísimo's Velocity Enterprise Search platform. Velocity allows for conceptual and meta data search, annotation and tagging of documents, all of which result in more productive culling;
• The ability to process one gigabyte of data in 10 minutes or less;
• The ability to process all file types.
